Judson Fellowship: Reflecting Christ's Image at NIU through love, discipleship, and service.
Taste and See that the Lord is Good!
At Baptist Campus Ministry we are trying new things and finding new and more welcoming ways to gather together. Instead of a traditional service on Sunday morning, we gather at 4:00 PM for a very different service. This service is rooted in authentic Christian worship that maintains a connection of gathering that originates with Jesus and his disciples. (Currently we are meeting off site for Dinner Church. If you would like to join us please reach out to Pastor Zach at firstname.lastname@example.org to be connected.)
WHAT IS DINNER CHURCH
Dinner church is exactly how it sounds. We gather together to eat a meal and worship God all at the same time. You will never leave a room or switch gears. Our worship and our eating are one.
ROOTED IN JESUS AND THE DISCIPLES
Dinner Church at BCM is rooted in Jesus and the Disciples. We take seriously the stories in scripture where Jesus ate with all sorts of people and for all different reasons. Jesus' disciples and apostles continued this tradition after Easter. We at BCM seek to continue to gather and meet in the name of Jesus. It is a space that is open for searching, growth, and good food.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
Absolutely not! We welcome all to come and participate. We will always have room at the Lord's table for anyone who wants to join.
WANT TO PARTICIPATE?
If you would like to participate there are many ways. We have times for people to lead us in prayer, read the scriptures, and sing songs. You can also contribute to the meal by bringing an appetizer, side dish, entree, dessert, or drinks. If your feeling moved to participate in a more active and leading way during Dinner Church please feel free to contact us in person at the dinner, or by email at email@example.com
